Jack Silhavy

Executive Vice President and General Counsel

Jack Silhavy serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel.  He has extensive pharmaceutical industry experience with strong litigation skills and a broad background in compliance.

Jack recently returned to Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC from Astellas U.S. in Deerfield, Illinois, where he served as Associate General Counsel.  Jack previously worked at Amphastar Pharmaceuticals, Inc., located in Rancho Cucamonga, California, as General Counsel, Senior Vice President Global Licensing and Secretary.  Jack’s career experience also includes work at The Monsanto Company, both in Chicago, Illinois and San Diego, California, where he served in various legal roles with the company’s NutraSweet, G.D. Searle, Kelco and Ortho/Solaris business units.

A Notre Dame graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies, Jack received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University of Chicago.
