APP Pharmaceuticals Announces Date for 2008 Second Quarter Financial Results and Investor Conference Call

SCHAUMBURG, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 24, 2008--APP Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq:APPX), a leading manufacturer of multi-source and branded injectable pharmaceutical products, today announced it will release its 2008 second quarter financial results after the market closes on Thursday, July 31, 2008. The Company also said that senior management will host an investor conference call on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 7:00 a.m. PT/10:00 a.m. ET to review the company's financial results.

The conference call will be available to interested parties through a live audio webcast at www.APPpharma.com and www.thomsonone.com. The call will be archived and accessible at both sites for six months.
